1.What is a lace wig?

A lace wig is a kind of wig with a mesh-shaped lace on the cap and all the hairs are hand-tied individually. In order to make the lace more comfortable,you can trim the lace and match your skin. The wigs shall be used with special adhesives or tape, and therefore, the hairline seems to be natural on sight and touch.Lace wig looks like your own growing hair, and is used on celebrities, musicians and models. Even pop stars like Beycone, Tyra banks,Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Lopez are all wearing lace wigs. Nowadays, you can wear beautiful and perfect lace wigs every day as you like.

 

2. What is the difference between lace front wig and full lace wig?

Lace front wig has lace on the front perimeter, and does not extend around to the back of the wig.Thus the lace front wig cannot be worn in a high ponytail that expose the back, or parted at the back where the scalp would be visible. Full lace wig has lace throughout. Can be worn in a high ponytail,and parted throught the imot fpr a natural scalp apearance. However, both wigs can be parted at the scalp, which may offer a natural look.

 

3. How do I choose the correct lace color?

You should closely match the lace color with the color of your scalp complexion, not necessarily your skin tone. Doing so allows your part to appear natural. If in doubt you can choose a color a shade lighter than your complexion or transparent. The lace can be easily dyed or darkened usually with a fabric dye solustion to accommodate your preference.

 

 

4. How long does it take for delivery?

For the stock units, we will send you within 2 working days. For the custom units the turn around time is about 4 weeks, we make sure every unit meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. You have our guarantee!

 

5. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Western union, Money gram and Wire transfer.

 

6. Can you duplicate a certain style from a magazine?

Yes, just send us the picture of the style you are interested in and we will have it made to your specifications.

 

7. What kind of hair is used?

We use 100% Indian remy hair for normal stock wigs. We also do Indian virgin hair,Chinese vrigin hair and Malaysian virgin hair.

 

8. What is baby hair?

Baby hair is the fine hairs around the perimeter of the unit. It gives a more natural appearance, as most people have shorter hair naturally at their hair line, and nape. It can be selected as an option when ordering your custom unit. 9. What are bleached knots?

Bleached knots is the process of lightening the knots created when ventilating the unit. It is recommended to further provide the illusion of hair growing out of your scalp. 10. How long will my wig last?

With proper care and maintenance, your lace wig will typically last anywhere from six months to one year.

 

11. What is a thin skin wig?

Thin skin, vaccum or suction wigs, are wigs that are made using a material known as polyurethane. Thin skin can be made to match your skin color and is usually used around the perimeter of the wig with lace throughout the rest.

 

12. Can anyone wear a lace wig?

Yes! Both men and women can benefit from wearing a lace wig. 13. What is hair density?

Hair density is the thickness or fullness of hair. 100% is the most common density. Our wigs are a combination of light to medium density to ensure a very natural realistic head of hair. When ordering your custom or medical wig you may choose your desired density. Please see our density chart.

15. What cap size will fit me?

We have standard dimension for small, medium and large wigs. Also, we can make caps against your requested size in order to fit your head better.Generally, medium wigs are suitable for most people and with stretch lace in the middle for flexibility of size. 

16. How can I measure the length of wigs?

The length of wigs means the length from head top to the bottom on straight hair. Curly and wavy wig is made by straight wig, so by same length, curly and wavy wig is shorter than straight hair by 1”-2”, which depends on the depth of curly.

 

17. Will my hairline look natural?

When you apply the wigs correctly, the hair will be natural looking, like growing from your scalp.For custom order, we suggest you to choose baby hairs and add it around the front and perimeter of the wig, so that the hair line will be looking more natural.(http://www.hairtowig.com/Product.asp?id=207)

18. Shipping Policy

We usually use express such as UPS, Fedex, TNT, DHL or EMS to ship, so we can ship products to any country in the word.  If using fast express, it takes 3-4working days to reach USA, European countries; If using economic express, it takes 5-7working days to reach USA, European countries. About other countries, please inquiry me before shipping. 

About customized order, it takes 3-4working days to produce after receiving your payment, but if hurry order of 2 weeks, price have to add 20%; if hurry order of 10days, price have to add 30%. 

About stocking list, we will ship you in next 2 working days after receiving your payment.

19. Return Policy& Exchange Policy

Refund / Exchange:

We Do Not Issue Refunds, however, If after receiving your stock wig unit, you do not like it... You can exchange the wig as long as the following criteria are met:

1. The wig must be in the original condition as it was sent to you. If the wig has been altered in any way, then we cannot do an exchange! This includes but is not limited to any of the following:

  • DO Not Cut the Lace

  • DO NOT Rip or Tear the Lace

  • DO NOT Put any kind of Chemicals on the Wig Unit

  • DO NOT Wear the Wig Unit

  • DO NOT Put Glue or Tape on the Wig Unit

  • DO NOT Put Products on the Wig Unit

  • DO NOT Wash or Condition the Wig Unit

  • DO NOT Dye the Wig Unit

  • DO NOT Perm or Put Relaxer on the Wig Unit

  • DO NOT Style or Cut the Hair of the Wig Unit

  • DO NOT Destroy or Lose any of the Original Packaging

  • DO NOT Try to Correct the Problem Yourself Prior to Calling Us

 

If you do any of the above, we WILL NOT accept the return and this policy will not apply.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

2. You must notify us in writing of your desire to do an exchange within 72 hours of receipt of the wig by sending an email to info@hairtowig.com .

Arranging An Exchange

Customer must notify us of the desire to do an exchange within 72 hours of receipt of the wig unit by sending an email to: info@hairtowig.com. Be sure to state your name, customer order number and the reason you want to exchange your wig. We will contact you within 24 hours or the next business day to address your exchange.

To complete the exchange, the customer will be responsible for sending the un-altered, un-damaged wig back to us in its original packaging. We advise you return the unit with a Signature Delivery Confirmation and Insurance, as we will not be responsible for lost packages. You must include $27 with your wig for re-shipping of the exchange unit.

There is no re-stocking fee for stocking wigs.

Cancellations

Custom made wigs are designed to fit your specific head measurements and as such we cannot cancel your order or issue a refund once construction of your wig has begun. If you have a problem with your wig after you receive it please refer to our return/exchange policy below:

We Do Not Issue Refunds, however, If after receiving your custom made wig unit, you have a problem such as... your measurements were off and there is a problem with the fit or you do not like the hair color or texture, You can exchange the wig as long as the following criteria are met:

1. The wig must be in the original condition as it was sent to you. If the wig has been altered in any way, then we cannot do an exchange! This includes but is not limited to any of the following:

  • DO Not Cut the Lace

  • DO NOT Rip or Tear the Lace

  • DO NOT Put any kind of Chemicals on the Wig Unit

Upon receipt of the wig unit we will issue you a credit for the purchase price of your wig less a 20% re-stocking fee. For example: if  your wig cost US$100 then your credit after the 20% restocking fee would be US$80. This credit can then be used toward the purchase price of  a new wig.

We can not waive the 20% re-stocking fee... So please make sure that you take your head measurements correctly and choose the specifications that best fit your own style including but not limited to the hair texture, hair color, hair length, density, etc. prior to finalizing your order.  If you are not clear on something, please ask questions first prior to ordering.

Return Policy If We Are At Fault:

In the rare event that you receive a wig that is different from your specifications (ie. You ordered blonde hair and received black). Then we will do one of the following of your choosing:

1. Replace the wig at no charge to you. There will be no re-stocking fee and we will pay for the shipping of the original unaltered wig back to us and the shipping of the replacement wig back to you.

2. Issue you a full refund upon receipt of the unaltered wig back to us. We well pay for shipping the wig back.

3. Issue a partial refund if you still wish to keep the wig.

If the customer chooses to receive a new wig or a full refund then the returned wig must be in the original condition as it was sent to you. If the wig has been altered in any way, then we cannot do an exchange or issue a refund! This includes but is not limited to any of the following:

  • DO NOT Rip or Tear the Lace

  • DO NOT Put any kind of Chemicals on the Wig Unit

  • DO NOT Wear the Wig Unit

       Making Changes To Your Custom Wig Order

Construction starts on your custom wig within 24-48 hours of receipt of your payment.  Therefore, any changes to your order MUST BE received no later then 72 hours from the time you place your order.  Any changes submitted thereafter, will be subject to a US$75 change fee to cover the cost of wasted materials.

 

 

20. Repair policy

1. Free Repair Service

Shipping Costs on Free Repair Service: The come-and-go shipment cost should be paid for by Customers.

Repair Service:

Cutting the extra lace

Adjusting the cap circumference (fore-and-aft 0.5")

2. Fee-based Repair Service

Repair Fees: $70 (included shipment cost of returnning to customers)

For both our wig and wigs from other supplier

Repair Service:

Adding hair

Clearing the hair

Straightening the hair

Adjusting the cap circumference
